Introduction to Native American Flute Workshop with

If breath is life, how can we show beauty thru breath?
Inviting you to come and explore the potent magic of the native american style flutes. These are made from wood who's heart has been hollowed, leaving space so that you may fill it with your heart, and breath. The sweet sounds of these flutes are known across the world and playing them becomes fun and easy with teacher and multi instrumentalist, Haitch from south east Queensland.
Explore breath control, finger positions and tonging.
Small intimate groups, learning together and listening to all and one at the same time.
Find and create space with the flute.
Learn a simple refrain and how to create your own.
Student flutes provided for the workshop.

ABOUT HAITCH
Haitch is a South East Queensland musician and composer @www.haitchmusic.com Bringing a fresh twist to the world music, devotional and yoga scenes, his style is expansive and deep. Looking to nature for inspiration and world cultures for instruments, his uniqueness lies in the moving fusion created with both uncommon and classical instruments. Including Native American flutes, Yidaki (didgeridoo), slide Didge, Suling flutes, Mellophone, Trumpet, electric Indian zither, vocals and synthesizers.
Sharing music and movement in 'Yoga Soundcapes' classes, holding devotional 'Chanting to Bliss' concerts & facilitating 'Soundwaves' sound healing journeys, several group workshops and private tuition and healing sessions. Haitch also runs www.circularbreath.com sharing his passion for this technique, used for music and medically diagnosed sleep and breathing disorders. Circular Breath also manufactures a range of telescopic style didgeridoo or 'Breath Strengthening Pipes' here in Australia.
