The Secret Singer is a brand new one-act musical play by award winning writer Joanna Weinberg. ( Goddess, Pandora's Bag, The Piano Diaries, Baroness bank's Bloodsongs, Lifeforce and Every Single Saturday.)It is the story of a disillusioned singing teacher whose life is turned around by an unusual pupil. Inspired by chorister Jenny Simm who sings in a community choir at the very centre where the premiere of the Secret Singer is to take place. The show stars Margi de Ferranti and Kate Mannix , with musical direction by Steven Kreamer and will include a free singing lesson and a question and answer session with the writer, Joanna Weinberg.
