David Meets Goliath September 2017

Start ups and Corporate synergies are vital to today’s successful economic ecosystem. The ‘David meets Goliath’ series gives you the unique opportunity to gain first hand insights into the fascinating topic of how old and new businesses enter collaborative engagement models.

The German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany, Brisbane have the pleasure of inviting you to an exclusive invitation-only event.

This is the second event in the David Meets Goliath series, which is dedicated to connecting corporate and start-up Australia. It is a joint initiative of the QLD Chapter and the German Honorary Consul.

The “Goliath” will be Siemens Australia Ltd partnering with SunvergeEnergy Australia Pty Ltd as “David”.

We will hear from Mr Ross Thompson, Queensland State Director, Siemens Australia how this multi-national Goliath engages with start-ups in the renewable energy sector in search of innovation. You will also gain insights into Siemens’ exciting Next 47 initiative (https://www.next47.com/). Richard Schoenemann, Director of Economics, Regulation and Policy, will share their experiences in the world of as start-ups.

We are honoured to have the Hon Leeanne Enoch, Queensland Minister for Innovation, Science and Digital Economy and Minister for Small Business joining us for this event. Also from our Sydney office Kristian Wolf, Executive Director, German Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce will be joining us.
