Jordan Shanks (Friendlyjordies) is bringing his acclaimed motivational stand-up show to UQ Brisbane.

After reading over 300 self-help books, Jordan has condensed the best from hundreds of authors who have already compiled the wisdom of thousands of years of thought and research on personal development. He’s crammed it all into a one-hour show, with sides of paying out gotcha journalists and merchant bankers. So not nearly enough time to cover everything, but LOOK! Friendlyjordies YouTube channel has been running since 2013 and currently has over 250,000 subscribers. He hopes that his satirical videos and podcasts will foster some sort of interest in socio-political discourse, but his online audience just wants Jordan to dress up as this kid that went to his high school.
