Book you and your family in for our free basic bike maintenance course and learn how to take care of your bike, so it looks after you.
The bike maintenance course is a 2-hour demonstration workshop that will allow participants to learn how to undertake bike checks, make basic adjustments and learn a variety of maintenance skills. These maintenance skills include:
- Taking off a wheel
- Replacing an inner tube
- Repairing a puncture
- Cleaning a chain
- Amending seat height and handlebars.
The course is designed so that the bike maintenance skills you learn can be utilised at Knox’s new public bike repair station at Marie Wallace Reserve. It’s a great opportunity to learn how to use the available tools at the new bike repair station in a fun, relaxing and engaging environment with family or friends.
Handout notes will be provided including maps and other useful tips.
