Peace & Understanding Lecture hosted by International House

International House presents Florence Nightingale Medal Recipient, humanitarian, and nurse, Ruth Jebb.  "Every mission I come away from it thinking I've left a piece of myself."

This year, Ruth Jebb received The Florence Nightingale Medal - the highest award given by the International Red Cross to aid workers in conflict zones. During the past 15 years, Ruth has served on a dozen International Red Cross missions including Sudan, Kenya, Chad, Haiti, the Philippines, and Nepal. She nearly died when an earthquake hit Nepal and she was carjacked. She eventually made it safely to mission headquarters.

International House Director, Dr. Carla Tromans invites you to the 2017 Peace and Understanding Lecture, featuring Ruth Jebb as the guest speaker.
