Mental Health First Aid Training Queenstown Tasmania

This two day fully funded Mental Health First Aid course is an opportunity for you to learn more about how you can support/care for family member/s, a friend or someone that you work with who is/are developing a mental illness or experiencing a mental health crisis.

Are you a Carer of a person with ill mental health?

Do you:

Look after someone in your own home or spend a lot of time helping them in their own home?
Are you the support person when they go into hospital or attend medical appointments?
Do you listen to a person’s concerns in an unpaid role?
Increase your care when needed and take a step back to support their independence?

This training is delivered by Mental Health Carers Tasmania and an accredited trainer for unpaid carers of people with ill mental health.

Participants receive a copy of the Standard Mental Health First Aid manual and online certificate of completion.

A light morning and afternoon tea will be supplied. Please bring your own lunch.
