The Brisbane Improv Festival is excited to be hosting 22 Improvisation Workshops as part of the 2022 Festival with facilitators from all over Australia and New Zealand.

Get your mischief on in this workshop, laughing in the face of failure and delighting in your partners.

This workshop is based on play and rediscovering the joy of impro again. Through low-stress and fun exercises we will work together to build confidence and find our own play. A super silly playtime!

This workshop is perfect for people looking to increase their confidence, and resilience and Improvisors looking to rediscover their sense of play.

About Katherine

Katherine Weaver is an improvisor, actor, teacher and Artistic Director of Impro Melbourne. She has performed and directed for many seasons with Impro Melbourne in such shows as Theatresports™, Gorilla Theatre™ and Maestro™. Her love of performing is only matched by her love of teaching, which she has been honoured to do in Germany, New Zealand and around Australia.

The Brisbane Improv Festival will be following all current COVID-19 safety guidelines and will also require all workshop participants to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 for the wellbeing of all participants and facilitators - please note this is a extra requirement mandated by the Festival.
