Wildness is a story about two of Australia's greatest Wilderness photographers: Olegas Truchanas and Peter Dombrovskis. This film is a significant piece of national history, telling the moving story about the lives of two inspirational explorers, artists and advocates. Both died in the environment they loved and sought to capture for all time through their ground-breaking photographic images. Theirs is a story of Tasmanian conservation. Their philosophy was simple and remarkably effective - if people could see the beauty of Australia's wild places then they might be moved to save them.
