Mark Walsh SC – 7 Wentworth Selborne
Topic: Professional Skills – Case Theory

Mark was admitted to the Bar in 1994 and took silk in 2015. His areas of practice include general litigation, commercial disputes, contract, tort, medical negligence, professional negligence, insurance law and coronial proceedings.

Brin Anniwell – 7 Wentworth Selborne
Topic: Professional Skills – How to: Expert Evidence

Brin was called to the Bar in 2014 and has a broad practice across commercial, administrative and Commonwealth criminal law. She has appeared in matters in the Federal and Federal Circuit Courts, the Supreme, District and Local Courts in NSW and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. Prior to coming to the Bar Brin was a Senior Lawyer at the Australian Government Solicitor. She was seconded to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses into Child Sexual Abuse and the proceeds of crime litigation unit of the Australian Federal Police.

Linden Barnes - Law Society of NSW
Topic: Ethics

Linden has been an ethics solicitor with the Law Society for 6 years now, following a career in insurance litigation and in house corporate roles. She deals with ethical issues including conflicts, confidentiality and officer of court obligations, both through telephone guidance services and also presentations and publications.
