Event Details

We are extremely happy to announce that the 9th Didgeridoo Bush Camp will be held on 13 - 15 April 2018. Didgeridoo Bush Camp is a three day NON for Profit Didgeridoo event for boys and men of all ages and levels. The Didgeridoo workshops and live performances are done by Ganga Giri and Craig Atkins. The weekend also includes the opportunity to make your own Didgeridoo. We acknowledge and pay respect to the Traditional Owners of Ipswich; the Yagara Language Group: Jagera, Yuggera and Ugarapul.

GANGA GIRI
Ganga Giri mixes red natural elements with tribal beats and funky bass lines to create a unique tribal-technological deep earth dance experience. Explosive and pulsating, at times ambient and flowing, the music is a pumping percussive multi-layered experience of complex grooves and raw, deep natural sound. A positive celebration

CRAIG ATKINS
With a diverse and unique live setup, Craig draws upon various guitars combined with Didgeridoo and several percussion instruments that enables a diverse sound to blend across his many styles of music. Blending roots, folk & blues with his honest and passionate performance ranging from gentle, finger picking melodic structures through to foot stomping roots and blues. With lyrical content sharing episodes of life, love and loss, and the observations of this world through his perspective.

MEALS AND SNACKS
Included in the ticket are all the beautiful vegetarian meals and snacks prepared and served by our beautiful Chefs Sylvia and Suzie. Cooked on open fire and served in the Didge Dining Room with three course meals with creative desserts, freshly made breakfasts and mouth watering lunches.

MAKE YOUR OWN DIDGERIDOO WORKSHOP **
The weekend also includes the opportunity to make your own Didgeridoo. We will guide you through the process of making your own eucalyptus Didgeridoo to take home with you. The Didgeridoos we use during our workshops are authentic and naturally hollowed out by termites. No living trees or animals have been harmed or damaged in the process. We use quality Red Box and Yellow Box Eucalyptus logs for our workshops; they are seasoned and ready to be carved. Learn how to make your own didgeridoo that includes stripping – sanding – chiseling – painting - tuning and making a mouthpiece out of natural beeswax. All equipment, tools and safety wear are supplied.

COFFEE

As a part of the weekend and also included in the ticket we have the incredible talented coffee guru Shoezie creating mind blowing freshly brewed coffees. From lattes to long black’s and sweet cappuccinos all made with love and organic products. He always provides the first aroma of freshly grounded coffee in the morning
