Peter first came into prominence in 1975 as lead singer and songwriter for the blue-eyed soul ban, Stylus. In Australia, Stylus released four albums which included hits such as, “Summer Breeze”; “World Of Make Believe”; “So Much Love”; “Work Out Fine” and “Love is all we Need” to name just a few. The Stylus success story signed a record deal with U.S Company Tamala Motown becoming the first all white band ever signed for the international Motown Label.

Stylus parted ways in 1980 making way for Peters solo career releasing the album “Fear Of Thunder” the title track hit top twenty. “Blame it on the weather” was not only a success for Peter but also for John Farnham’s comeback.

Peter became a favorite and regular on variety TV shows which included, The Midday Show, Hey Hey its Saturday, Tonight Live with Steve Vizard, Ernie and Denise, Good Morning Australia, In Melbourne Tonight. Peter closed the opening of the Sydney Entertainment Centre for channel nine and he also performed for nines annual Christmas eve carols by candlelight at Sidney Myer Music Bowl for 15 years.

As a solo singer/songwriter for the past three decades Peter has had enormous success. His arrangements are more popular today than ever. Musically so diverse, he is one of Australia’s most favored performing artist. Regularly entertaining the public at many major events and venues but one of his most cherished was opening for Frank Sinatra at Sanctuary Cove in the 80’s. Charities are close to his heart and has written songs for “Make A Wish Foundation” and “Sacred Heart Foundation”. Being a keen sporting fan he also wrote “Best of the Best” for the racing hall of fame and also wrote Team Of The Century Tribute for North Melbourne Football Club.

Stylus still regularly perform and tour Australia together and in 2003 they released their live album called “Still Alive”. (Available on ITunes) Also in 2006 Peter teamed up with his long time friend Jon English as an acoustic duo called “Uncorked” which was such a raging success they teamed up again in 2011 for the show “Unscrewed”. A show full of fabulous humor and nostalgia and is still delighting audiences in 2015.

Peter has written and recorded many albums over the years in different genres, 2000 saw the storytelling folk/country “bak2basics” inspired by his heritage, early Australia and country upbringing. Songs like “pioneers”, “Life goes on”, “Family”. In 2007 saw the versatility of Peter’s talents into some jazz standards and original material on the album called “About Time”. This album was a huge success in Australia and overseas. Peter has been performing regularly in Japan at the Okazaki Jazz Festival and Brisbane Jazz Festival. 2014 he launched the album “Cupples by Candlelight” (available on ITunes) his tribute to Christmas carols and years performing them for channel 9.
