Having toured Australia for over four years as a soloist with The Ten Sopranos and having sung in prestigious venues all over Australia, Renee has developed both her vocals and her performance skills to become a consummate professional.
Renee has recently recaptured her country roots as a soloist; combining stunning vocals with heart felt songs.
Renee's recent Christmas release 'My Man in Red' was a smash hit getting over 62,000 views on Facebook and being played on CMC; and she is ready to follow that up with a fresh country tune for the start of 2018; 'Don't Say it if you don't mean it'.
‘Nobody puts music & comedy together like Luke Escombe. Taking the madness of the modern world & setting it to a soundtrack of impossibly catchy tunes that leap from funk to soul to afrobeat, punk, hip-hop, blues, mariachi, spoken word & rock and roll – “Confidence” is like Tom Waits, Frank Zappa & Flight of the Conchords got together, had a wild jam session & made a concept album.
Be warned: you’ll be singing these songs to yourself for days “Luke Escombe is a rock-soul singer, raconteur, blistering blues guitarist, comedian & songwriter, & is very good at them all… such sophistication wrapped in a coating of such overt fun. Hear him” (John Shand, SMH)
“I absolutely LOVED the show – brilliantly witty, clever, adventurous, brutally honest, often hilarious….so many irresistible grooves” (Yaron Hallis, owner of Camelot Lounge)
“Burn the name Luke Escombe in your brain. World class musician, world class comedian. Brilliant” (Talkfringe, Adelaide).
