This conceptual art performance will be shared from the sacredness of my heart. This will be an intimate moment to see yourself through someone else’s eyes.

Angela Laurette Michelle is inviting you to embrace your curiosity, your courage by taking a seat with her at the Newcastle Fringe where a beautiful seed may be mysteriously planted within you that will linger at one with your own truth.

Her conceptual art performance is inspired by Marina Abramović’s work “The Artist is Present” an artist who has been pushing past perceived limits of the body and mind, and exploring the complex relationship between artist and audience, through performances that challenge both herself and, in many instances, participants emotionally, intellectually, and physically.

Angela is drawing upon this inspiration by embracing her own unique understanding in her own work through an innocent curious exploration with an anchor of understanding that in truth we are no separate, we are all in fact one.

Audience members are asked to share in this curious moment with Angela by taking a seat opposite her and exploring the space created between them. This moment will suggest, that even though there maybe the concept of separation, through a courageous choice to embrace this moment, a beautiful mystery may linger with you long after the connection of the experience.

It opens the dialogue that we are mirrors for each other in truth.

Angela Laurette Michelle is bringing her own unique feel and signature of love to this conceptual performance by honouring her own divine mystery through sharing the sacredness of her heart. “I believe silence and mystery is a transcended and powerful translation”.

“I explored this concept in Creative and Performing Arts at Newcastle University in 2017 and when the audience shares a seat with you in this moment, your silence blossoms as the voice”.

Do You See What I See? is an exciting and intimate moment to see yourself through someone else’s eyes. “Embrace your courage and let taking a seat with me refresh within you who you are in truth”.
