“AMOR is a Love story about two Chileans separated by 13.000km. They use the world of technology and instantaneity to make their long distance relationship work.

This show was created under the premise of connectivity and instantaneity; taking space to think about what LOVE is in a new era of romance. We want to discover with the audience if a relationship can be sustainable through social networks such as Facebook Video Calls and Instagram live.

These platforms have become the predominant way of communicating between lovers separated by a long distance. This work is innovative in two significant ways.

Firstly, one of the lovers/actors will be actually performing live from Chile; and secondly the spectators will need to use their Instagram accounts (or create one) and add an specific user to be able to see the performance from a different live angle and comment and contribute to the love story.

This is a half Spanish and half English performance engaging the audience in these two different cultures.”
