The National Library is home to a huge collection of music and folklore. Join Professor Graham Seal AM as he looks at this collection, Australian folklore studies, research, archiving and dissemination through performance, publication and digitisation.

Graham is Professor of Folklore at Curtin University, where he is also Director of the Australia-Asia-Pacific Institute. His books on Australian folklore include The Oxford Companion to Australian Folklore (with Gwenda Beed Davey), The Hidden Culture: Folklore in Australian Society and Verandah Music: Roots of Australian Tradition (with Rob Willis). His work has been recognised with an Order of Australia.
