The community gets the opportunity to have input into the future of the Upper Hunter when the Department of Premier and Cabinet’s Hunter Director Stephen Wills presents an update in Muswellbrook on the latest work being done on a review of the Upper Hunter Synoptic Plan. The Synoptic Plan will shape the future land use for the Upper Hunter – a must event for anyone interested in the future of the Hunter. New rules governing rehabilitation of mined land will also be in focus through a presentation by Dr David Blackmore of the Division of Resources and Geoscience.
