SAFE CHURCHES AWARENESS WORKSHOP

Safe Churches Awareness Workshops are an integral part of the Australian Christian Churches Child Protection and Safe Churches policy. These workshops are mandatory for all ACC credential holders. New credential applications will not be finalised until a workshop has been attended. 

This workshop involves four main sessions covering:

1: An Overview of the new Policy and Procedures.

2. Protecting Vulnerable People.

3. Safe Leaders.

4. Safe Programs.

The day includes interactive exercises and is invaluable to bring you up to date with the new policy expectations. The ACC Safe Churches guidelines makes it mandatory for all ACC credentialed ministers to attend a workshop every three years and is binding on all ACC Churches. Local churches conduct their own in house workshops for leaders, board members and volunteers with direct contact with children or youth.
