Masquerade Ball Cruise - Fri 8th June

Join us for a night of elegance at this ultimate masquerade experience. A party sure to be filled with mystery and beauty like no other.

DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND the Masquerade Ball Cruise will be happening again in June.

Event Details

• This party cruise is a BRISBANE SOCIAL SCENE 20's & 30's event (hosted by Darryl Daz),
  it is also open to the PUBLIC, and ANYONE CAN JOIN US! (adults 18+ event).
• 3 hours party cruise on MS James Cavill  – From South Bank to the Gateway Bridge and back!
• Fully Licensed Bar
• Boarding at South Bank Terminal One
• We will depart at exactly 8 pm to maximize party time on the boat, return 11 pm.
• DJ on-board playing the best party music!
• Complimentary Hot finger food platters (just finger food and not a meal so please have dinner prior to the event).
• Lower deck dance floor with pumping sound system to ensure the ultimate party atmosphere!
• Upper deck games room with tables, chairs etc
• There will also be a photo props table with wacky hats, wigs, glasses etc
• You can purchase alcohol with cash & credit cards, EFTPOS is available.

FORMAL DRESS: Black tie & formal (lounge suit & tie or bowtie for men & floor length gowns for the ladies). I do understand that some of you may not be able to do so, that's ok! Just come in the most formal attire that is available to you with a Masquerade mask (B.Y.O mask). Ladies: please avoid wearing high heels as the steps are very steep.

Must wear a mask and the most creative mask wins a price! When purchasing your masquerade mask, look for one that matches your personality.

⚓ ABOUT THE BOAT.....

For this cruise will be on MS James Cavill instead of the Lady in Red due to maintenance. The same boat that I did the previous Hawaiian cruise on.

• Here are some details about MS James Cavill;
• The MV James Cavill is 23 meters long and 5 meters wide. Built for maximum space and comfort this wide-bodied cruiser caters for groups of up to 130 people.
• The large top deck with its retractable roof is the perfect place to relax and take in the views of the Brisbane River while the main lower deck flows all the way from the bow to the large rear stern area with a full-length bar down one side and padded seating on the other.
• Plenty of room on the dance floor in the middle. This level also has both men's and ladies' toilets with 2 toilets in each.
• The James Cavill is made of steel which makes her a very solid and stable boat that cruises up and down the river in comfort.
• There is a designated smoking area at the back of the boat on the lower level.

CHECKING IN:

Please arrive at 7:40 pm for an 8 pm departure. Depart 8 pm on the dot to maximize party time on the boat, return 11 pm. Darryl will be using the Trybooking app to check everyone in (by scanning the square QR code off the ticket) so please print your tickets or MAKE SURE THE TICKETS ARE VISIBLE ON YOUR MOBILE PHONE.

Participants may cancel their tickets without penalty & get a full refund (minus booking fee) up until 7 days prior to the event. Cancellations received 7 days before the event, will not be eligible for a refund.
