LO'99

Tapped by some of the world’s most sought after labels and spun by dance music’s top tastemakers, make no mistake… LO’99 is doing Australia proud!

This Sydney producer makes tracks that blur the lines between house and breaks; his production usually always packing a heady bassline and often contains a little 2-step or garage influence. And why not we say!! Dance music’s elite are getting behind his vision with LO having secured releases on cult labels like Night Bass, Bunny Tiger, Confession and This Ain’t Bristol. To boot, he’s been called upon to remix some of the greats like Röyksopp, Kaskade, Moby, Peking Duk, AlunaGeorge & more.

In no time LO’99 has clocked up four Beatport #1s & had his tunes spun on Triple J, BBC Radio 1,1xtra and many other networks around the world, his debut single Take Me Back hit #5 on the UK club charts, while his 2016 runaway hit ‘Make Me Feel’, the following single ‘Fallen’ and his last single feat. Elizabeth Rose ‘From The Start’ all became #1 club records on the Australian ARIA charts, released through his very own imprint Medium Rare Recordings.

Last year also saw LO perform at Splendour In The Grass, Nocturnal Wonderland and on the main stage at EDC Las Vegas as well as running his own secret location shows across Australia’s east coast. LO kicked off 2018 with an official remix of Fatboy Slim’s Star 69 which is still getting hammered by everyone from Richie Ahmed and Claptone, to Roger Sanchez and Tiesto.

He’s just embarked on a 12 date ‘Bizness’ tour around Australia & New Zealand and will be back to the states for the USA leg of the tour which includes a return to EDC Las Vegas in May 2018.

Human Movement

There’s something special about the Human Movement output, a consistent pushing of sonic trends, blending their own steeze in with a relentless style of dance music that sits right on the boundaries of what one would normally digest.

Unquestionably an act on the rise, the modern incarnate of a foregone debaucherous era of dance music - their critically acclaimed, self released debut EP "Dancing Room" (5am, premiered by Anna Lunoe on Beats1 Radio) saw the newfound bad boys of Australian techno embark on a touring run across some of the countries best parties. The tour was immediately followed by massive stops at Groovin The Moo, Splendour In The Grass, Strawberry Fields and Lost Paradise. Followed up by their Subcity EP (Premiered by THUMP) and then showcasing the duo’s ability to write a broad range of genres with previous single Right Thang (out via Kitsuné), a refined RnB- infused house jam. Most recently, their I Need EP (Of Leisure Records) showcased a natural progression in the duo’s production abilities and is certainly their most polished work to date - supported by Joris Voorn (Rejected / Green Recordings), Richie Hawtin c/o (M-nus / Plus 8), Riva Starr c/o (Hot Creations), Danny Howard (BBC Radio 1) and Carl Craig.

2017 was non stop for the after-hours aficionados and not only from a studio perspective. The duo hosted not one, not two, but three absolute heaving sold out Human Movement Parties. Turning notable Sydney venues inside out, these parties have graced Civic Underground, The Midnight Shift (Oxford St) and Beach Road (Bondi), showing that these boys have the backing of a burgeoning fan-base, which has accelerated them to the top of the underground food chain. With eyes now turned towards their brand new live show, Human Movement celebrated their debut live performance at premiere live music venue in Sydney; The Metro Theatre, with a huge light show to match. The end of year continued strong with direct support for Deadmau5, a mix features by Resident Advisor’s “Mix of the Day,” and finished on New Years Eve playing to hundreds on people at Lost Paradise Festival during a magical twilight set.

In 2018, Human Movement make their debut on Defected with a smart dual single demonstrating buckets of natural talent. Accompanied by club-ready extended versions, ‘Run It By Me’ featuring indie-style vocals from Eliot Porter and ‘Help A Brother Out’ with its more direct club approach show a depth of house music knowledge that has so far caught the attention of the likes of Joris Voorn and Richie Hawtin. To continue the celebration, Human Movement will embark on a European summer tour performing in clubs in Ibiza, Defected Festival in Croatia, France and more.
