Important information for ticket holders:

DATE Thursday 8 & Friday 9 November 2018
VENUE Australian National Maritime Museum - 2 Murray Street, Darling Harbour SYDNEY
REGISTRATION Registration will take place in the Terrace room from 8am on Thursday morning. Access will be through the external Terrace room door, not the main entrance of the venue. There will be signs directing you to the Terrace room at the venue.

At registration you will receive your name badge and Symposium pack.

Tea and Coffee will be available during registration.

REGISTRATION TIME 8:00am in the Terrace room, seated by 8:40am for a prompt 8:45am start
NAME BADGE Please wear your name badge at all times during both days of the event.
EXHIBITION Please take some time to visit the SafeWork NSW initiatives on show during registration and the break out times on day one in the Terrace room.
NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES Registration, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea on day one and check–in and brunch on day two are excellent opportunities for you to meet your fellow delegates
FREE WIFI WIFI is available at the venue and is called ANMMPublic. There is no login or password required.

ACCESS TO SITE Australian National Maritime Museum - 2 Murray St, Sydney NSW 2000

Walking:

A 15 minute walk across Pyrmont Bridge from the centre of Sydney’s CBD, or a 10 minute walk from Sydney Fish Market


Nearest Train Station:

Town Hall Station – then a 20 minute walk to the venue


Light Rail:

Take the L1 Light Rail at Central Station to arrive just across the road from the museum.

CATERING

The MSD Symposium is a fully catered event over both days
DIETARY NEEDS AND SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS If you have not already advised us of your specific requirements, please email msd@safework.nsw.gov.au by Thursday 1 November and we will endeavour to meet your needs. Please note the venue is unable to provide specific dietary requirements requested on the day.
SPEAKER PRESENTATIONS Speaker presentations approved for release will be made available to attendees via email and on our website after the event.
ACCESSIBILITY If you have not already advised us of your accessibility requirements, please email msd@safework.nsw.gov.au by Thursday 1 November and we will be in contact with you.
IF YOU’RE RUNNING LATE The Symposium will commence at 8:45 sharp. However, in the event you’re running late, there will be a team member in the Terrace room for you to register.
IF YOU WANT TO TRANSFER YOUR TICKET We’re happy for you to transfer your ticket to someone else if you’re unable to attend. If known before the event, please email msd@safework.nsw.gov.au with the transfer request. Alternatively, please ask your substitute to visit the Registration desk on the day.
IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND We have lots of people on our waiting list who are eager to attend. If you’re unable to make it, please let us know asap so we can activate the waiting list. To do this, just email msd@safework.nsw.gov.au before the event and we will provide you with a full refund.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING? No, you aren’t required to bring anything along to the event.
