Lyn Bowtell - Wiser Album Tour 2023

Stunning, heartfelt vocals, beautifully-crafted songs and world-class performances, there are few female voices in Australia to rival the class and style of Lyn Bowtell.

An innovative songwriter, Lyn defies easy classification. With influences reaching from pure country to blues, R&B, roots rock, jazz and pop, Lyn has her own distinctive voice and musical identity.

Lyn first came to prominence as songwriter and singer for multi-award- winning country pop trio Bella. Since then she has released critically acclaimed albums ‘Secret Songs’ in 2012, ‘Heart Of Sorrow’ in 2014 and EP ‘Calling You in 2017’, all brimming with the soulful vocals that turned heads and four red chairs on national television in Channel Nine’s Season 6 of The Voice Australia.

Lyn's latest ARIA #1 Album ‘Wiser’, produced by Shane Nicholson, was released in May 2022, and won a Golden Guitar Award for 'Contemporary Album of the Year' at the CMAA Golden Guitar Awards held at Tamworth Country Music Festival in January. 

Lyn is thrilled to share with you the new songs that spearhead her first solo release in nearly 4 years.

‘I'm really looking forward to sharing these songs with you. Those of you who have followed my career will know that I never do exactly the same thing twice and this collection of songs is no exception, so...expect the unexpected!

I've named the Album 'Wiser', after a track that reflects the overall feeling of the songs; songs about love, loss, learning and looking towards the future with a better understanding of the past. This album reflects where I'm at and where I'm headed... 'Wiser, braver, stronger from now on’.
