Intro to Knitting

Come and join Amy from @theknot_collective for a fun-filled morning learning how to knit! Knitting (once you get the hang of it) is a great way to unwind, rest your mind and escape from the stressors of day to day life..... and the feeling of accomplishment when you finish your first project is amazing!

This workshop is designed for beginners. You’ll learn the basics of knitting – casting on and off, knit stitch, purl stitch and be taken through reading and understanding a pattern. 

We will be using a chunky weight wool blend yarn and large 9mm knitting needles from Addi, premium knitting needles made in Germany. Learning on such a chunky weight is great, because you see results fast. You’ll get to take home all materials provided.

• Wool/Acryclic Blend Bergere de France yarn
• finishing needle
