STRAWS is an award winning documentary that highlights the problems related with straws and other single use plastic pollution that inundate our landfills and oceans. The film inspires a new path forward.

STRAWS will screen at The School Hall at Peregian Springs State School, on Thursday 26th July at 7.30pm and is hosted by 9 year old Cam Spooner from Cam Saves the World.

Tickets are $4 for a family of 4 ($1 each) and all money goes to the amazing CoralWatch

“I hope to get people thinking about how small habits can add up to huge impact. Removing plastic straws is a tangible, simple change people and businesses can do that truly makes a difference,” says filmmaker, Linda Booker.

“We are so pleased to screen this film,” said Mandie (Cam's Mum) “Bringing our community together to watch STRAWS will undoubtedly inspire people to change their personal use of straws and other single use plastics.

Fantastic prizes to be won in the free raffle!

120 are seats available, although there is lots more floor space so if you want you can bring a cushion to sit on!

Stall holders will be there so you can buy some reusable products and say no to single use plastics.

We can't wait to see you there :)
