Pre-booked Public Tours of

RAAF Globemaster C-17a

Guided coach tours to Hobart Airport to view the RAAF C-17 Globemaster aircraft. Tours board coaches at Mac 02 TasPorts Cruise Ship Terminal in Hunter Street. Your guide will explain the role the aircraft plays in Australia’s Antarctic program. Tour includes an exclusive look inside the aircraft and a briefing from RAAF air crew. Tour includes return trip to Mac 02. Tickets by $10 donation per seat to the Mawson’s Huts Foundation to support their work in Antarctica.    No concessions.    You must have a valid ticket to board the bus.

·This is a military aircraft, not designed for passengers, so physical access may be challenging.

·You must have a reasonable level of mobility and take responsibility for your own safety. There are ramps to climb and hazards to avoid.

·Children must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.

·Children under the age of 8 years are not permitted for reasons of public safety.

·You must wear closed footwear with non-slip soles. Trousers or leggings are recommended for all tour members.

·You must present a valid ticket to board your coach.

Tickets are for timed coach departure and return. You must be present at the time and date indicated on your ticket. There are no refunds, but tickets are transferable.
