Soul Sangeet @ Bamboo Buddha

Soul Sangeet will colour your mind with intoxicating melody and rhythm with a depth of knowledge and cultural understanding that has been passed down from generation to generation.“Sangeet is sound or music in Sanksrit and follows a deep belief of spirit in sound”. Sangeet Mishra is an 8^th generation sarangi player from Benares, Shivam Rath is a classically trained musician having studied as a child with his father and from his Indian teachers in Varanassi & Calcatta (Including World Renowned Slide Guitarist Debashish Battacharia).

Shivam has adopted the use of the 22 string fusion Slide guitar with a Himalayan Crystal Ball for added grace and tone. Accompanying on percussion is Australia’s leading Tabla player Mahshi Raval originally from Gudgrat, India. Sangeet and Shivam will be performing a traditional raag set to the time of day and season. Each artist will be performing a solo followed by a collective finale ensemble.
