Details

Walk to the Arboretum’s regional botanic garden in Forest 20 and experience the colourful array of local native spring flowers in bloom. Learn about the different local wattles and how to recognise them and other flowers that are used by the Ngunnawal people. Venture beyond STEP to search for the wild flowers growing amongst native grasses in the adjacent block.

The walk will take 2 hours and will mainly be on gravel paths, but will also include walking over a stile and walking through grassland. Distance will be 2 – 3 kms.

Please wear sturdy covered shoes, dress for the weather and bring water. 

This walk is suitable for ages 12+

Bookings essential as spaces are limited.
