With a foundation rooted in the spirituality and message-based music of Reggae and Rastafari, Mike draws on many musical genres, including reggae, folk, blues, flamenco, jazz and R&B, to create a style uniquely his own. His live show uses live looping, effects pedals and a hybrid acoustic/electric drum kit (played by drummer, Sam Ites); nothing is pre-recorded - everything is performed and recorded on the spot, which keeps longtime fans returning as the show constantly evolves.

Mike has shared the stage with artists such as Michael Franti, Trevor Hall, Nahko and Medicine For The People, Xavier Rudd, Rebelution, John Butler Trio, Groundation, Steel Pulse, Dave Matthews and Jack Johnson. His song 'Permanent Holiday' has almost 15 million views on Youtube.

Born and raised on the island of O'ahu, Hawai'i, Love was brought up in an environment surrounded by musical influence and the inspiring natural landscape of his island home. Growing up under the musical guidance of his father and grandfather, both composers, as well as his steel pan instructor Frank Leto and piano teacher Beth Uale, Mike's natural musical instincts towards melody and harmony were shaped and deepened.
