During Tasmanian Whisky Week, Launceston Distillery will be opening the Hangar doors to host a a number of behind the scenes tours, with the opportunity to meet our Head Distiller, Chris Condon. Launceston Distillery is not yet open to the public for tours, so this is a unique opportunity!

Launceston Distillery sits proudly in the heart of Tasmania, based at Launceston Airport’s Hangar 17 - the state’s oldest surviving aviation building. Our home is the gateway to Northern Tasmania, a region rich in natural beauty and renowned for its premium food, wine and, now, whisky. Launceston Distillery is the first traditional whisky producer in Launceston to gain a production licence since the Caledonian Distillery closed 170 years ago.
