Baroness Cox has been recognised for her work in the international humanitarian and human rights sphere with many honours, including the Commander Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland; the prestigious Wilberforce Award; the International Mother Teresa Award from the All India Christian Council; and has also been awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and many more. Currently Baroness Cox is the CEO of the Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust (HART-UK), working with partners in communities suffering from oppression and persecution who are often not reached by major aid organisations for political or security reasons.
