During this workshop you will learn about the life cycle of a honey bee, roles within the hive, how to identify bee types, the various hive types available and the basics of keeping a hive at home. You will learn how honey is made, extracted, and about pests, diseases and risks faced by honey bees in Australia. 

This workshop is designed for beginners. No previous knowledge or beekeeping experience is required!

Age group - 12 plus, bookings essential. Please meet in the Terrace Room

All teaching materials and a take home information book are included.
