David McCall has an uncanny resemblance and you are so enthralled in his performance you would think you were watching the real legend. 

One of the most influential artists of the 60s through to today is without doubt, George Ivan Morrison aka Van Morrison. His music is loved the world over, not just by audiences of the 60s but just as significantly by younger generations as well.

Morrison’s successful career resulted in his acceptance into the American Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.

Despite his acknowledged popularity, rarely is his music heard on radio, or seen on Television! But when it is, it’s always a very pleasant surprise guaranteed to get you singing along.

When was the last time you heard any of his music? What’s that you ask, “Which songs did he write?” It is hard to believe that people who love his music do not readily think of him when wanting to bring their music collection up to-date.

His name does not always immediately come to mind, that is of course, until you mention songs such as "Brown Eyed Girl", “Moondance”, "Jackie Wilson Said (I'm in Heaven When You Smile)", "Domino" , “Bright Side Of The Road” and "Wild Night", just to name a few, and the response is always the same, “Oh him, yeah I love his songs”.

Now you can enjoy the best of Van Morrison as well as the vibe and excitement of a live concert, thanks to new tribute band, VM, from Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.

VM’s line up includes seven talented musicians/singers with lead vocalist David McCall who is commonly known as the Peninsula’s own “Van Morrison”.

Not only does he look and sound like Van Morrison, David originally hails from the same area of Belfast.

VM, the tribute band, evolved in 2009 from local covers group “During the Week”. Collectively, VM’s musicians have over 200 years of musical experience between them, and have been working hard to bring you a selection of Van Morrison’s extensive repertoire.
