A real mix of musical genres with Jason Walker & the Tender Mercies and Paula Punch & the Fireflys .
The Punch Sessions was created by Phil Punch of Electric Avenue Studios, and Paula Punch with their music friends, to showcase local singer-songwriters and musicians for an evening of beautiful tunes and entertainment. This session includes:
A beautiful night of music with Accapony Choir and Paula Punch & the Fireflys .
Paula Punch who has recently returned from touring the Californian West Coast and Nashville!.\ The band includes Robin Gist on guitars, Catherine Golden (Bonnie Kay and the Bonafides & The Honey Bogans) on Double Bass, and Tim O’Driscoll on percussion.. Her music is hard to define – but indie folk is probably closest.
Accapony is principally an acapella choir which performs popular songs in a distinct and fun way.
With about 20 members they create a wonderful big sound with loads of personality.
Fiona Cook of the Villbillies Band leads this community choir with her fabulous energy and her steady double bass to underpin this feel good group.
