The road map to a change...

Special Guest

Campbell MacLeod, BiziNet Associate Partner

1. Assess the situation objectively - there will be opportunities.

2. Maintain an honest media profile - stay connected with existing clients, build awareness and new demand.

3. Outline a crisis management plan - stabilise and consolidate. The new normal will require change.

4. Adapt, improvise and overcome - plan ahead, focus on core business to recover sales and grow.

Helen Fraser, Ultimately Sydney

Director - Owner/Founder

Born Rockhampton, Queensland (1 of 6 kids). Dad joined the army, so we started moving, every 4 years in a different town. I had to leave home to become settled… Moved to Sydney in 1989 and studied Hotel Management. Travelled around the world for 2 years working in hotels. I returned and jumped the fence into tourism. Worked 10 years for other operators before launching my own business in 2007.

My tours were sold to inbound visitors through my concierge mates. GFC in 2009 directed marketing efforts domestically, so created Gourmet Tours to attract locals. International travellers returned and remain our primary market. I live with my 2 kids (18 & 19) and Australian Shepard in Gladesville, Sydney.
