On the morning of Mothers Day 2006 Eddie Cross was at the top of his game. Creatively as one of Newcastle's top photographers. Physically as a five time finisher of the gruelling Iron Man Triathlon. By that afternoon he had suffered a terrible brain injury. It was a tough journey to recovery but, being no quitter, Eddie worked hard on his recovery to overcome his injuries.

And what a truly remarkable recovery Eddie has made. So much so that on Saturday 18 October 2008 Eddie did his own iron man for disability to pay back those organisations and people who helped him make it back to the top.
