This 2 hour webinar is designed as a refresher for advisers who have completed the aged care accreditation course to bring you up-to-date or to deepen your understanding of the rules. Content will include:

• Application of the updated 9-steps for creating aged care advice solutions
• A refresh of the aged care fees and calculating the MTA, including examples of more complex client situations
• How the home is assessed for both age pension and means-tested care fees 
• Protected person ins and outs and the interaction with financial hardship rules
• Developing strategy options
• Low-means residents and how costs can change over time, including timing of entry for couples
• Equity release options to help pay aged care fees

The webinar has been assessed by the FPA for 2 CPD points for paid attendees at the live session only.

These will be made available soon after the webinar has been presented. However, please note, that a recording of the webinar will not be available. CPD points are also only available for advisers who pay and attend the live session.
