And you're right. The average open mic night is an uncomfortable cesspit of awkward wannabes, talentless try-hards and too many adults whose mum told them they were great as a child, when they were and still are, remarkably average.

But not here at The Newsagency.

Our monthly Open Mic nights are emceed by our very own tech witch/venue manager, Monique. Our overlord/owner, Ali, will most certainly be heckled into performing by the bar staff.

A great way to test out new material, gain support and advice from fellow local musicians, impress the venue you may want to book and have a damn good time.

Strictly featuring the incredible, the talented... and the sometimes intoxicated.
