Do you want to make the most of Newcastle’s beautiful beaches during your time here but don't have much experience swimming in the ocean? 

Bring your towel and cossie (bathing suit) and join our Aussie Beach Session to learn about important surf survival skills and beach safety tips from the experts – The Hunter Surf Life Saving Crew. Discover how to negotiate surf conditions and what to do if you get into difficulty, stay sun smart, body surf and practice surf board paddling technique. There will also be time for some fun beach volleyball! Following the beach activities, a tasty lunch pack and refreshments will be provided for a picnic by the beach.

This Aussie beach experience includes all equipment, professional  instruction, a catered lunch pack and bus transfers.

Tickets are limited to 30 students, so get in quick to secure your ticket!

There will be 2 pick up locations:

- 9:15am - NewSpace (bus stop corner of Auckland St and King St)

- 9:40am - Callaghan (Design bus stop)
