2019 International Women's Day Event - "Balance for Better"

Two Great Guest Speakers:

Michelle Crawford – Being More Human

Chief Conversationalist • HR Guru • Entrepreneur • Public Speaker • The Ultimate Mum

Michelle is the amazing brain behind Being More Human. 20 years of experience providing guidance, leadership development, recruitment support and strengthening the culture in organisations across 20 industries has shown her one truth – modern businesses are losing their humanity. After seeing the world and meeting people from all walks of life, Michelle chose to dedicate her life to helping businesses in Australia to become more human in the way they operate and their culture.

Michelle will be representing BMH speaking at the World Economic Forum- for Women in Dehli, India. With two speaking spots, she is very excited to be taking part. She has also recently published a book. This book is a journey into human behaviour that teaches and empowers readers to be more human, in the workplace, at home, and with yourself.

Singleton’s Own – Di Sneddon

Di is a fourth generation Singletonian and proud of it.

She has been blessed with opportunities this community has given her, she was a journalist covering the upper hunter with the Newcastle Herald and a journalist and then editor of the Singleton Argus since 1992 to resignation in 2013.

Di is passionate about being involved in the Singleton community sitting on the Board of Ourcare Services, a member of Singleton Local Area Health Committee, community rep on Upper Hunter Mining Dialogue, Tidy Towns Committee, president of Singleton branch of Australian Red Cross and a few other things.

Singleton, what a great place to have a voice and make a difference!

Right now is a great and important time in history to do everything possible to help forge a more gender-balanced world. Women have come a long way, yet there's still more to be achieved. The International Women's Day 2019 campaign theme of #BalanceforBetter is a call-to-action for driving gender balance across the world. How will you help make a difference?
