HorsePower Australia (HorsePower), previously known as Riding for the Disabled Association of WA is a registered voluntary, charitable not for profit organisation that, with the assistance of over 500 volunteers provides people with Diversabiliites - physical and intellectual disabilities, mental health conditions and youth at risk with opportunities for therapy, achievement and enjoyment that aims to transform their lives one hoof-beat at a time.

Apart from being fun, the three dimensional movement of the horse provides neuromuscular stimulation similar to that of a human walking which promotes improved muscle strength, balance, coordination, flexibility and confidence.

Night at the Races has fast become HorsePower’s biggest fundraiser and an event not to be missed on the Perth calendar.

2019’s highly anticipated event takes place on Saturday 29th June in the Grand Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Perth.

Night at the Races is an exciting fundraising event featuring nine (9) televised horse races for which our guests can purchase sweepstake tickets. To add to the excitement, Race 9 is the HorsePower Cup and the most anticipated race of the night. where attendees can own the dream and become racehorse owners in the hope of winning the coveted HorsePower Cup.

The evening is a unique event filled with fun and activities such as the Barrier Draw, Mystery Wine Sales, Sweepstakes, Bookies, Live & Silent Auctions, delicious three course meal, drinks, a testimonial speaker sharing their personal experience of the magic of horses, a highly entertaining MC and much, much more.
