About Memento Mori – Death Museum

The museum will feature True Crime Author and Serial Killer Whisperer Amanda Howard’s private collection of correspondence with killers from across the globe as well as artwork, rare photographs, crime scene photographs, original announcements and so much more!

Also featured will be pieces from Paranormal Enthusiast Peta Banks’ own collection, including well known Australian bushranger death masks, various antique medical instruments, Victorian post mortem photographs, and freak animal taxidermy.

Each location in the Vintage Village in the grounds of Fairfield City Museum and Gallery will feature an entirely unique space dedicated to a death related topic, such as executions, crime scenes and historical artefacts.

The Memento Mori experience is largely a self-guided tour lasting approximately 45 minutes to an hour, however those who can stomach it may stay as long as they like, as there are hundreds of items on display.

In addition, keynote speakers will talk about topics relating to death and dying across the weekend. Monsters Who Murder will also be recording a live podcast during the weekend event.

The VIP Launch is an over 18s event, and we STRONGLY advise that much of the material is for MATURE AUDIENCES! Graphic and explicit content is included.
