There is a growing demand in Australia and internationally across all sectors for greater competence in managing the partnering process in multi-stakeholder partnerships more effectively and efficiently. This is particularly so with the business, not for profit, government, health and education sectors increasingly seeking to work together to solve complex social and development problems.

This training is an initiative of the Southern Mallee PCP, working with the Partnership Brokers Association, and will bring together participants from a diverse group of agencies and interested community members to build the ability of the Southern Mallee PCP to work together on some of the complex issues important to the communities across the Southern Mallee.

Workshop Objectives;

  • To build understanding of multi-stakeholder collaboration (‘partnering’)
  • To provide an opportunity to explore partnering challenges and good practice principles To consider what it takes to partner effectively
  • To introduce a number of frameworks and concepts and share different views/experiences
  • To introduce the concept of ‘partnership brokering’
