FREMANTLE PEOPLE!

Wild Marmalade and Dream Drone didgeridoo player Si Mullumby is offering his workshop for the second time in Fremantle. This time at the Beacon Yoga Centre.

The workshop runs from 11am to 1pm, with no late entry after 11.10am.

Age requirement is 14+ due to the need for silence.

Silence and the respect of each other's personal space is the backbone of this workshop.

***not a learn to play didgeridoo workshop, this is a breath workshop***

World-renowned musician Si Mullumby has developed a unique, uplifting workshop using the sound of didgeridoo, meditation and rhythmic breathing to cultivate prana - life-force energy. Experience the powerful resonance of the didgeridoo that will guide a collective journey through breath into a grounded, blissful state of energy and clarity.

Didgeridoo Pranayama is a workshop with a musical thread that runs through beginning to end. It is a safe place for people to all journey quietly within themselves, assisted by the energy of the group. It is not an emotional releasing environment.

Flow of the Workshop:

From meditation on sacred sound of Aum, you’ll transition into the special repetitive breathing technique, held in motion by the vibration of the didgeridoo. Experience the primeval, rhythmic oscillations that will activate the para-sympathetic nervous system to ground and connect you to spirit.

Didgeridoo Pranayama is a workshop that offers all the virtues of playing didgeridoo without all the years that it takes to master. For the first time Si is sharing his life’s work exploring the power of breathing patterns as a tool for actively exploring the inner realms.
