General Practice Management of Orthopaedic Problems

This full day workshop will cover a wide range of topical orthopaedic issues that General Practitioners will often encounter in their daily practice. Combining traditional lecture type presentations with interactive discussions of relevant case studies, the guest speakers- highly dedicated and locally practicing orthopaedic surgeons and radiologists, will share their wealth of knowledge and experience throughout the program. Particular emphasis will be on discussing the complex fields of orthopaedics and radiology, including shoulder, spine, hip and knee joints problems, management and/or replacement, arthroplasty outcomes, pain management and accelerate recovery in hip and knee replacement, ultrasound guided Musculoskeletal (MSK) injections, x-rays and referral for imaging investigation of musculoskeletal conditions.
