Side On: Judy Bailey and Mike Nock

This special member only event brings together two of the most accomplished pianists in Australian and New Zealand music. Bell Hall of Fame Inductee Mike Nock OMNZ and ARIA Award winning Judy Bailey OA will take over the floor of the Theme and Variations showroom in this exclusive event.

Both artists have a long and distinguished career that collectively span more than a century. From Judy’s early days performing at El Rocco Jazz Cellar with legends such as Don Burrows, Judy has forged a formidable career as a pianist, composer and educator. Blazing a trail for women musicians who have followed, her pioneering work as a performer and educator has earned her an Order of Australia. Mike’s 25-year international career working in the USA and touring the world saw him perform with many of the world’s greats including Dionne Warwick, Coleman Hawkins and Yusef Lateef and forming his own influential fusion group The Fourth Way.
