Radio Lollipop (Australia) invites you to support Radio Lollipop Gold Coast, by buying a ticket, grabbing a table or donating today. Radio Lollipop volunteers work hard, they enjoy a crucial position in the hospital and play a vital role in the recovery, and emotional state, of children and their families in hospital. Join the team to celebrate the importance of Radio Lollipop, whilst you enjoy a great night with friends old and new and help raise money to keep Radio Lollipop GC on the air. This is an opportunity for the community to unite together.

Radio Lollipop is a volunteer run international charity established in the UK in 1979 as a one-off project. This year Radio Lollipop celebrated 40 years being on air, on the 5^th of May 2019, with Gold Coast Radio Lollipop celebrating 13 years. Radio Lollipop provides care, comfort, play and entertainment to children in hospital, from newborn up to 17 years old and their families. Radio Lollipop and our play volunteers help sick children to connect to the world outside their hospital rooms.

The Gala Ball will be raising funds to continue to run the Gold Coast University Hospital children’s ward Radio Lollipop station. The funds will assist us with the costs of keeping this amazing service on air and ensuring we have craft supplies, paints, prizes, games, toys and everything needed to provide the best possible service for the kids. 

The night promises to be a great networking opportunity. Key industry and political figures have been invited to attend, along with big corporates across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Queensland.
