Join us on Sunday 13th October for the next installment of From Brunch to Lunch at The Rules Club Wagga.
This event will be focusing on self love and self care and the importance of slowing down. We are all busy and we all put far too much pressure on ourselves to be everything for everyone else (but us!!)
We will begin our day with a 15 minute mindfulness meditation with Kez from Anavah Mindfulness & Meditation, this will then be followed by an amazing presentation from Zoe Joesph from S.H.E.Change and a presentation from event organiser Casey Wilson on her struggles with anxiety and how she had to slow down or suffer the consequences.
Presenters:
Zoe Joseph - S.H.E. Change
As a teenager and through most of her 20's, Zoe struggled with self hate, body image insecurities, a deep need to prove herself, constant sabotage patterns, guilt, and certain health issues, which would leave her always feeling fatigued.
Over the years Zoe has invested in dozens of personal development courses, read piles of self-help books and has listened to and attended talks by many wonderful humans who are creating a lot of positive change in the world. Fueled by her findings and newly found inner peace, Zoe went on to create her own personal development coaching, and today has successfully helped thousands of women find the peace and comfort they are seeking in their lives.
Through coaching, Zoe came to realise more often than not, women were all facing the same issues, fears, guilt and anxieties. After months at the drawing board, assessing what she could do to address more women, S.H.E Change was born.
S.H.E Change helps you explore the world of personal development, be part of a community of like-minded women, and consciously create the change you wish to see in your life.
As women, we often find ourselves stuck in the rut of overwhelm, worrying about everything we ‘should be achieving’ or things we ‘have to do’. SHE Change is on a mission to show women how to seek peace and not perfection.
“The tools and information that I now teach are the same principles that helped me and many others to manage their struggles. But more importantly S.H.E Change was created to bring awareness to women that they aren’t alone, they are understood and that they can create the change they are searching for. Sometimes all you need is a perspective shift” - Zoe Joseph
Casey Wilson - Dealing with anxiety and finding self-worth
Casey was medically diagnosed with anxiety at the age of 13 and since then has been plagued on and off with varying levels of the illness. In 2012 Casey went off her medication and was un-medicated for close to 7 years where she experienced all the things she never thought would be possible, until in 2015 she became sick with an illness that was only diagnosed in early 2019.
In 2015 Casey's anxiety returned and has remained the devil on her shoulder ever since, but she is now better equipped to handle it than she was at the age of 13.
After trying many many different therapies, both medical and natural Casey will share with you how she manages her anxiety and her journey to finding self love and self worth after years of putting it in the hands of others and being continuously disappointed when it just didn't work out.
Casey is not a motivational speaker but has a real story to tell - and it is this story that was the birth of the From Brunch to Lunch events.
"To this day I do not have the perfect formula for how I manage my anxiety, it has ruined many relationships both personal and professional and has been a heavy burden to bare, but throughout it all I have found a way to self-acceptance and I can honestly and truly say that I love the person that I am today, and it is that story that I want to share with all the attendees at this From Brunch to Lunch event". - Casey Wilson

Introducing Major Sponsor - The Rules Club Wagga
From Brunch to Lunch is excited to partner with The Rules Club Wagga to bring you our October event. It’s partners like The Rules Club that allow us to deliver the best possible event we can and allow us to grow.
Just like your favourite Aunty, the Rules Club has always been there – celebrating the wins and helping your family create many lasting memories.
Building on its proud traditions, the Club has grown to become a full-service modern precinct, offering function spaces and event support, bistro, sports bar, café and on-site hotel.
But while the facilities may be new, the Club still serves up the same family-friendly atmosphere the people of Wagga have grown to know and love, and each year supports more sporting groups, charities and community organisations than you can poke a stick at.
Good people, good food, good fun – that’s what we call Playing by the Rules!
You can now also sign up to the Rules Club online here
Refunds up to 14 days before the event, No refunds will be issued after 14 days prior to the event due to organiser costs.
