MEET THE WRITERS:

For years, Mark Lombard has been a key player in Brisbane's sketch comedy scene. In 2017, Mark debuted his first Brisburned show and hasn't looked back. Following sellout shows in the Bris Funny Fest and Brisbane Comedy Festival at Brisbane Powerhouse, Scenestr described Brisburned as an "epic must see" ... so don't just stand there ... go see it!

Mark proudly performs with a regular (and totally awesome) cast. This show's lineup includes James Tinniswood, Liz Tuckett, Mike Griffin and Liz Talbot.

Drew Lochrie is a Brisbane-based actor, singer and improviser originally from the UK. Highlights include Brisbane Comedy Festival performances in Impromafia’s Potter Unplotted and Martini Time. Drew's girlfriend really likes that he played the Prince in Animated! An Improvised Musical Fairytale.

Drew was part of the winning team at the Queensland Theatresports™ Championships in both 2017 and 2018, and in 2017 won the award for Best Cabaret Artist at Short+Sweet Qld. He has also performed original sketch and improvised comedy with Big Fork Theatre, appearing in Get It In Ya and Cool Story Bro. Most recently, Drew played Billy Zane in Act/React’s Titanic The Movie The Play. He is quite fond of a nice cup of tea.

Big Fork Theatre is Brisbane's home of improv and sketch comedy. After starting GET IT* INYA, a night of experimental sketch comedy, the Directors of Big Fork have been exploring comedy in all its forms. They are excited to bring the exciting debut of GET IT* INYA: *A SKETCH PODCAST to the stage, nearly 5 years after it was born as a live show.

Featuring Cameron Watson, Rosa Sottile and Taylor Edwards this is a not to be missed origin story for a legend in the making!

After living in Canberra for four years, Liz Talbot makes her anything-but-triumphant return to Queensland, joining the Brisburned crew. Liz has also written for Sketch Pad, The Complete First Season, The High Horsemen and the University of Queensland Law Revue, and since returning to Brisbane has found a home with Big Fork Theatre.

Liz would like the State to know that she really did live in Canberra and that it was not just a cover story for being in prison, though the night-life may have been more exciting in prison. Liz lives with her two rescue cats and a large number of board games, proving that in this day and age you really can Have It All.

Cheeky Moon is the Brisbane comedy writing duo of Claire Coe & Alastair Craig. Their work celebrates the “giddy, imaginative and surprisingly touching” - from the quiet existential despair of Thomas the Tank Engine to the complex temporal physics of Vengaboys lyrics.

Their online sketches and short films have been featured by Funny or Die, ABC Brisbane and film festivals from London to New York to Berlin - and have even gone viral in the international nudist community. Claire and Alastair can now be found loitering on stages at sold-out Metro Arts shows, writing jokes for late night television, and secretly hoping Shaun Micallef will someday find and legally adopt them as his disappointing adult children.
