The Brisbane Improv Festival is excited to be hosting 22 Improvisation Workshops as part of the 2022 Festival with facilitators from all over Australia and New Zealand.

You got your who, you got your what, you got your where!
Facilitated by Cameron Watson, (Big Fork Theatre, Brisbane)

Cameron will take participants through a series of improv exercises focused on initiating scenes that are interesting, dynamic and fun to be in. Cameron believes the key to a good scene start is making sure all performers are on the same page from the start.

Participants will explore:

  • Creating characters on the spot
  • Dynamic relationships
  • Using your environment
  • Getting to the 'point' of the scene
