The Brisbane Improv Festival is excited to be hosting 22 Improvisation Workshops as part of the 2022 Festival with facilitators from all over Australia and New Zealand.

Workshop-to-Show: Perfecting The Scene
Facilitated by Hayden Wright

'The Scene' is a collaborative improv format where performers play the role of directors, editors, set designers, scriptwriters and more in the pursuit of 'the scene' of the show. This workshop-to-show is recommended for improvisers with intermediate experience, as it combines the tools of directed scenes with the playfulness of the Slacker format. Improvisers who participate will discover the joy of 'following the fun' and get to practice setting up scenes for fun and success.

Please note that any Festival shows cast from workshops is at the discretion of the show's director and is not guaranteed. Please go into workshops with a view to learning new improv skills and having fun. Any performance opportunity is a bonus.
